Preparation tips

1. Defrost jackfruit chunks

2. Steam or cook unfrozen chunks with a pinch of salt for about 10 to 15 minutes.

3. Shred or pull your chunks to get your preferable structure. Use your hands for the best result.

4. Marinate the chunks in your favorite sauce or massage herbs into them.

5. Bake or fry the marinated jackfruit chunks for another 10 to 15 minutes (the longer the crunchier the bite).

The natural taste of jackfruit mixes well with all spices. This means you can use jackfruit chunks as an alternative to meat in almost any recipe.
