Instructions

Here by popular demand of our Spanish speaking friends. Quick, easy to make appetizers to get the party started. Serve them warm and soft right out of the oven or cold and crunchy the next day. Either way, they're bound to be a hit.

Step 1. Ok, first of all, defrost the Tex Mex Pulled Jackfruit and separate the slices of puff pastry so they can defrost as well.

Step 2. When you’re ready to go, preheat the oven at 225°C.

Step 3. Add Tex Mex Pulled Jackfruit to each slice of puff pastry. Fold the empanadas, wet the edges and press well to close them.

Step 4. Take an oven tray, cover it with parchment paper and lay down the empanadas. Sprinkle the empanadas with water and sesame seeds. Place the tray in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.

Step 5. Serve the empanadas directly from the oven with your favorite salsa dip. Enjoy!
